Why this role matters 

The Marketing Apprentice will play a key role in supporting Kent Teach’s recruitment and brand awareness through engaging digital and social media activity. By helping to create content, manage campaigns and analyse performance, the role ensures marketing reaches the right audiences effectively. It is vital in strengthening the organisation’s online presence while developing future marketing capability within the team.

What you’ll be doing 

• Assist with the day-to-day management of social media platforms, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers.

• Create and support the development of content for social media, blogs, email campaigns and the website.

• Monitor and report on marketing performance using analytics tools.

• Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.

• Update and maintain the Kent Teach website to ensure a positive user experience.

• Support marketing projects and campaigns with administrative tasks.

• Plan and attend recruitment fairs and promotional events with guidance.

• Respond to basic customer queries and provide technical assistance where needed.

What we’re looking for

• A keen interest in marketing, social media and advertising.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Confidence using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

• A creative mindset with an interest in digital trends and content.

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• IT literacy with willingness to learn tools such as CMS, Google Analytics, Canva, Meta Business Suite and Mailchimp.
