Early Years Educator
Location: Oaks Day Nursery, Swanley
Salary/package: £25,949 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
This role covers the core hours of 08:00am to 17:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The Education People (TEP) have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Educator to inspire and support children at the start of their learning journey. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality early years education within a trusted, values-driven organisation.

What you’ll be doing
Managing key person responsibilities to ensure children feel secure and supported.
Supporting daily play and learning experiences that promote development across all EYFS areas.
Working closely with families to strengthen involvement in children’s learning.
Building effective relationships with colleagues and multi‑agency partners.
Preparing observations, assessments and learning records to support planning.
Supporting children’s health, well‑being and safe risk‑taking.
Contributing to continuous improvement across the nursery.
Engaging in supervision, appraisal and ongoing professional development.
What we’re looking for
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification with proven experience in a childcare or early education setting.
Paediatric first aid is desirable but not essential.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS 0–5 curriculum.
The ability to build warm, respectful and inclusive relationships with children and families.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, flexible and solutions‑focused approach.
Commitment to safeguarding, equality and anti‑discriminatory practice.
