Senior Compliance Investigating Officer

Connect2Kent are looking for a proactive Senior Compliance Investigating Officer with a solutions-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills to join their Governance, Assurance and Risk team.
This role would suit someone with strong administrative, compliance or case‑handling experience who is looking to broaden their exposure to governance, safeguarding and assurance activity within a fast‑paced and evolving environment.

Recruitment Partnerships is a Division within Commercial Services Group (CSG), providing recruitment and workforce solutions to Kent County Council and a number of other Councils across the country. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a process‑driven environment and the ability will play a key role in coordinating case activity, supporting investigations and ensuring clear, consistent and compliant record‑keeping.
What you’ll be doing
Coordinating case activity in line with agreed processes, guidance and business priorities.
Maintaining accurate records, trackers and documentation to support visibility and reporting.
Reviewing logged cases against threshold criteria to identify escalation needs or evidence gaps.
Supporting case‑related, complaint and safeguarding activity by gathering information and organising documentation.
Preparing draft notes, timelines, evidence packs and summaries under appropriate guidance.
Ensuring case records are organised, accessible and retained appropriately as part of a clear audit trail.
Monitoring progress against agreed actions and supporting timely follow‑up.
Supporting the development and maintenance of templates, checklists, guidance and process documents.
Coordinating governance and assurance activity, including trackers, updates and documentation.
Supporting external audits such as REC, ISO and KCC.
Safeguarding Champion for Recruitment and Supporting with risk registers.
What we’re looking for
Experience supporting compliance, complaints or case administration activity in a busy environment.
Knowledge of recruitment industry legislation is highly desirable.
Proven customer service experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good IT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Office packages.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to challenge processes and identify more efficient ways of working.
Confidence in highlighting non‑conformance internally and externally.
Experience using CRM or database systems is desirable.
