Why this role matters 

As an Associate Recruitment Consultant you will support universities and colleges by sourcing and placing high quality professionals who help students with disabilities succeed in higher education. You will manage relationships with candidates students and partner clients while delivering a compliant high care recruitment service. This is a fast paced role where your work directly contributes to student engagement retention and academic success.

What you’ll be doing 

• Build strong relationships with universities colleges assessors and partner clients across the higher education sector.

• Develop regional talent pools of specialist student support professionals across the UK.

• Source engage screen and onboard candidates in line with compliance and safeguarding requirements.

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from referral through to placement and aftercare.

• Match students with suitable support workers based on needs preferences and availability.

• Communicate clearly and consistently with students candidates and clients throughout the process.

• Ensure all placements meet compliance GDPR and eligibility to work standards.

• Monitor sector trends legislation and workforce challenges within student support.

• Identify opportunities to grow services and improve recruitment delivery.

What we’re looking for

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and adapt your approach.

• Experience working in a fast paced office based or recruitment environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

• Confidence handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and care.

• Good IT skills including experience using recruitment systems or CRM tools.

• Commercial awareness with an interest in developing recruitment performance.
